HOW TO HAVE CUSTOM MDF PARTS MADE?
You can design MDF parts yourself and have them made and finished by us. This means that we saw, mill and sand components according to your specific guidelines. You can choose from a varied range of models, constructions, cut-outs, grooves and bevels, but can also get creative yourself.
With our order form and a technical drawing you can provide all details specifically.
Required technical details:
- dimensions
- thickness of the sheets
- radius sides
- milling (detailed info bossing, grip, groove, …)
- construction specifications
Contact us and we will look at the feasibility of your design for both the manufacturing process (substrate) and the chosen paint technique (finish).
POWDER COATING
Our range of powder coatings is very diverse and we are happy to show you what is possible. Our products are of high-quality thanks to our choice for specifically developed raw materials and the unique Polylak powder process.

- 4 weeks (20 production days): for material in standard or exclusive colours
- 6 weeks (30 productiedagen): for material in powder coating, high-gloss or satin powder coating
We recommend washing all coating with a soft sponge and lukewarm water, then rinse and wipe dry with a chamois cloth.
You can add normal household detergents or car shampoo to the water to remove grease and/or soot stains more easily.
Better NOT to use:
- Detergents containing abrasives, sodium hypochlorite or bleach
- Abrasive sponges
- Products containing solvent or wax

WET PAINTING
Our range of wet paints is virtually infinite. Below you can find some instructions for technical support as you can also provide us with existing parts and/or constructions in MDF for coating.
- 3 weeks (15 production days): when the client provides material – satin/texture/varnish/stain and varnish/oil
- 4 weeks (20 production days): when Polylak provides the material – satin/texture
- 4 weeks (20 production days): when the client provides material for a high-gloss order
- 5 weeks (25 production days): when Polylak provides the material for a high-gloss order
